After days of cold grey skies and feeling quite tired and a little uninspired to leave the house, i prayed for sun! And sun was what we got, a perfect sunny crisp winters day, or was it the beginning of spring?

The crocuses where out, the daffs beginning to show there happy yellow faces and snowdrops,  oh how i love snowdrops!  These were extra special, multi layered petals illuminated by the setting sun.

The sky finally clear, not a cloud in sight.

Camera in hand i played with capturing the setting sun and the golden sparkles caught by the ground ivy, oh how i love to play in the woods!
